Purpose of the Role
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing, the accounting department, financials, finalisation of books of accounts, managing audits, quarterly limited reviews, board presentations, accounts payable, coordination with other departments in closure of accounts, subsidiary accounts etc.
Job Responsibilities (KRA)
- Preparation and finalization of , BS, Cashflows as per IND AS for a listed company.
- Finalisation of accounts on quarterly limited review and annual audit accounts
- Consolidation of accounts, Preparation of SFS, CFS and SEBI format IND AS accounts.
- Coordination with Statutory auditors for completion of limited review and annual audits
- Completion of annual reports and coordinating in data gathering for same
- Working in SAP FICO with either SAP HANA or similar version
- Following compliances on MSME, TDS, TCS, or similar activities is must
- Ensuring integrity of data and entry of data into ERP applicating and ensuring that accounting data is captured and entered on timely basis
- Monitoring performance of day to day Accounting and finance
- Monitoring daily activities in accounting & finance divisionP & L
- Work closely with the management to deliver timely submission of reports.
- To coordinate and be responsible for internal and statutory audit, risk based auditing
- Ensuring upkeep of inventory, CWIP, Asset capitalisation, customer ledger records etc.
- Supervision of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Implements financial and accounting best practices and oversees critical accounting procedures to ensure legal compliance with financial reporting
- Maintains and revises accounting systems as needed
Job Requirements (KPI)
CA with strong knowledge of SAP
Minimum of 8 – 15 years’ experience in accounting roles
- The candidates must be individual contributor and managing a team of 4 – 6 people
- Strong knowledge of Finalization of accounts
- Patience to handle daily routine work in finance department
- Working in listed company accounts department is must
- Strong knowledge of ERP and SAP is preferred with minimum work experience in ERP of not less than 3 years
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of MS Office with excellent experience on Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
