Purpose of the Role
The incumbent will be responsible to Lead end-to-end PPC function covering forging (open die, closed die, and ring rolling).
Job Responsibilities (KRA)
- Lead end-to-end PPC function covering forging (open die, closed die, and ring rolling),
- CNC machining, heat treatment, and dispatch
- Develop integrated production plans from raw material stage to finished goods delivery
- Coordinate and synchronize operations between forging shops, ring rolling mills, machining ,
- and subcontract processes
- Plan and schedule production based on customer requirements, machine capacity,
- and delivery commitments
- Optimize utilization of forging presses, hammers, ring rolling forging, and CNC machining.
- Ensure smooth production flow and minimize bottlenecks across all manufacturing stages
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, and Logistics teams
- Oversee capacity planning, production levelling, and resource allocation
- Manage inventory of raw materials, WIP (forging, ring rolling, machining), and finished goods
- Ensure strong adherence to delivery schedules and improve On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance
- Implement and effectively utilize SAP HANA (PP module with MM/SD integration preferred)
- Develop MIS reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking for management review
- Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, efficiency, and cost optimization
- Lead and mentor PPC team, planners, and production coordinators
Job Requirements (KPI)
Experience: Minimum 15 + years
Qualification : B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering
